Head of Inclusion & Diversity

Our client is a FTSE 250 business and a leading provider of Services in the UK with a growing international presence. The role of Head of Inclusion and Diversity is a pivotal role, for an ambitious individual to develop and deliver the Inclusion and Diversity strategy and policies across the Group.

Reporting to the Group People Director, the Head of Inclusion and Diversity will work in partnership with the operating companies across the Group to deliver a more inclusive, diverse and equitable environment. Through effective communication, influencing, and practical advice, you will support the implementation of the organisation’s diversity ambitions.

An important part of the role will be to establish, implement and manage Colleague-led networks as well as the rollout of unconscious bias training. With a key ambition to balance the gender of the organisation, this role will be a catalyst for change, focusing business leaders on developing a progressive culture, whilst also embedding effective Inclusion and Diversity practices so that the Group continues to attract, engage and retain a more diverse and gender balanced workforce.

As a member of the HR leadership team, you will support the delivery of all elements of the strategic and operational Inclusion and Diversity agenda, including Gender Pay Gap reporting, working alongside external partnerships and providing networking opportunities for collaboration and continuous improvement. Responsible for measuring and reporting Diversity and Inclusion KPIs, as well as improving the disclosure rate of the existing workforce, this role requires an individual who can link these to future Inclusion and Diversity initiatives. Your role will primarily be a central co-ordination role; effectively working alongside human resource professionals, advocates and champions in the Group wide Operating Companies. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement of the Inclusion and Diversity agenda in areas of benchmarking and establishing best practice.

To be considered for this role, you will have an in-depth knowledge of Inclusion and Diversity as well experience of leading and managing projects to secure a strong culture of inclusion. A strong communicator with proven relationship building skills, the successful incumbent will also be able to demonstrate a track record in improving and raising the profile of an organisation in this area.  Supported by the Group People Director, this role offers an ambitious, tenacious individual the next step in their HR career.
