Employee Engagement & Communications Coordinator - Manchester

Our client a leading transport organising is looking for an internal communications co-ordinator to join their HR team. Working on a single site you will form part of an internal communications team and have overall responsibility for ensuring good internal communication and employee engagement across the site. Working closely with the site manager you will identify develop and deliver all internal communication messages.

Main responsibilities:

  • Create site-wide briefing documents writing within 'tone of voice' guidelines
  • Promoting the employee engagement survey, communicating findings and implementing any changes
  • Organising site wide events, including charity days and training events
  • Manage and monitoring the internal social networking site
  • Producing a range of content for the internal communication channels including blogs, videos and podcasts
  • Lead on the site's incentive scheme
  • Work closely with the internal communications business partner to formulate plans to improve the engagement and communication on site

Experience required:

  • Must have experience working in corporate communications
  • Experience producing a range of media content on various employee relations topics
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders
  • Able to communicate effectively to a wide audience
  • Ideally experience within a call centre setting
