I am delighted to work with an expanding law firm to recruit an HR Advisor in Leeds on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and vibrant firm and an opportunity to take the HR Lead on site with line management responsibilities for one other.
You will provide generalist HR experience and be a point of contact for queries on site or across the firm. You will be responsible for undertaking HR administration, managing the on-boarding and induction for new starters and updating policies and processes, learning & development and employee engagement. You will also lead on employee relations issues such as disciplinary or grievance, advising line managers as necessary and track sickness, absence and nonattendance. You will ensure all relevant changes have been processed in preparation for submission to the outsourced payroll provider.
In order to be successful in your application you will need generalist HR experience ideally gained in a diverse organisation - ideally a law firm, similar firm or professionals services organisation. You have experience providing a generalist HR service and support to the business across, employee relations, recruitment, engagement, L&D, HR administration and HRMIS. You have good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. You have the ability to organise, prioritise and manage tasks to meet tight deadlines, you have meticulous attention to detail and work with urgency.
