People Officer

I am working with a great global organisation based in the City who are looking for a permanent People Officer to join them.

The People Officer will be responsible for providing all aspects of HR support to all staff within the organisation. This role is a true HR Generalist role including recruitment, payroll, and systems admin for the HRIS and benefits administration. This role will report into the Chief People Officer but will also take direction from the Senior People Partner.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all day-to-day queries

  • Oversee all recruitment activities across the organisation, ensuring all campaigns are run in an efficient and timely manner

  • Administer inductions for all new staff and prepare all relevant paperwork relating to the employee lifecycle

  • Prepare and submit all payroll and payroll changes in conjunction with the Finance team

  • Act as systems administrator for the HR system, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accurate and that staff are entering relevant information as required

  • Administer all PRI staff benefits in a timely manner

  • Produce reports and statistical analysis for the Chief People Officer and Senior People Partner as required

  • Logging and arranging training needs, in some instances researching providers whilst ensuring this is kept within the allocated budget and escalating any foreseeable issues

  • Track and monitor all people related timelines, including probations, visas and contract end dates, including the Senior People Partner where necessary

You will need to have strong administration experience working at a fast pace with high standards of customer service for employees. Strong experience of administering payroll and recruitment campaigns. Ideally you will have great IT and system skills and have had used Sage HRIS before. My client is looking for a proactive candidate who has the ability to identity and create new administration process that streamline the work of the team.
