Workforce Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager
3 month Part Time ED&I Manager role for a Government Organisation in London. £230-£260 per day, starting ASAP.
Your new company
You will be working as a Part Time Workforce Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, for a Government Organisation in London. The role is initially 3 months whilst they recruit permanently and will pay either £230 PAYE per day or £260 UMBRELLA per day.
This is a job share, and has a set working pattern of 22 hours across 3 days per week, working specifically on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Your new role
Reporting to the Learning and OD Manager, within in an organisation of 1000 employees, you will be responsible for the provision of policy advice and also overseeing/project managing a number of current projects. You will act as the sole Subject Matter Expert for the organisation, regarding ED&I. Current duties/projects that you will be responsible for include; Supporting all departments on their individual action plans, assessing and advising on how they are implementing them and performing against them, Supporting 4 staff network groups, ensuring they are discussing and organising with appropriate focus as per organisational ED&I strategy, Project managing the roll out of organisation wide training on unconscious bias, Coordinating the submission to Stonewall Equality Index 2020, Feeding into the organisations diversity Standard and Overseeing pay gap action plans (gender and ethnicity).
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that candidates have specialist Equality, Diversity and Inclusion experience, at Manager level or above. Candidates must be available on 1 weeks' notice or less.
What you'll get in return
You will be working in a highly specialist and senior role in the organisation, with exposure to working closely with the Governance Board. You will be paid weekly and the role may be extended beyond the 3 month stage.
