Director of Talent & RPO

We are a rapidly growing recruitment & RPO business based in the City of London who are seeking a Director of Talent & RPO to spearhead a new RPO focused business for a wide range of existing blue chip clients.

Specific responsibilities

•    Proactively develop an outsourced recruitment function towards a more value add offering, strategically thinking on a number of areas as; recruitment branding, market positioning, candidate experience, analysis of effective hires, future hiring needs and cost saving
•    Full ownership of the RPO business unit (including contingent recruitment) - current team size of five, with big plans to grow as we leverage our network of high performers
•    Oversight of three lines of business within this business unit including contingent hiring, outsourcing and our new offering for SMEs
•    Preparation of business plan outlining three-year business unit direction, execution and strategy
•    In partnership with the Commercial Director, accountability for outsourced revenue and full P&L responsibility
•    Development and management of the recruitment solutions team day to day – this is a great opportunity to take an existing and working business unit and grow it rapidly
•    Overseeing the end to end hiring processes for client graduate recruitment programmes
•    Serve as a strategic talent acquisition business partner to client hiring leaders and strategic business leaders
•    Knowledgeable and able to present relevant market intelligence to the hiring leaders, working in an end to end capacity to cover multiple business areas and grades and responsible for the strategic development of the business unit to add value and best service to the business
•    Proactively understand business challenges impacting talent acquisition and communicate as appropriate to client
•    Identify, manage and proactively resolve conflicts related to client relationship and assist team members to do the same
•    Act as a mentor and subject matter expert to the team as well as other team members on recruitment strategy
•    Act as point of escalation for day-to-day recruitment processes and functions
•    Identify perceived difficulties with searches and research and recommend solutions to both internal and external stakeholders
•    Management and update of headcount, systems, overseeing the reporting & MI for the team
