We're moving from a recruitment model to a Talent Acquisition Model at Aegon to improve customer service and implement a direct sourcing model. As part of this new model, we're seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to join us.
The Talent Acquisition Manager is a talent attraction and acquisition expert responsible for the successful end to end management of the recruitment lifecycle across Aegon UK for all permanent and fixed term recruitment, based in Witham, Essex. Delivery will be through a team of consultants specialising in talent acquisition and this role will be responsible for actively leading, developing, coaching and mentoring the consultants to maximise performance and engagement. Responsible for controlling and managing recruitment spend, the role holder will focus on implementing direct sourcing methods through digital and social media platforms and reducing Aegon UKs reliance on third party agencies.
The Talent Acquisition Manager will have responsibility for the operational aspects of running the function and will continually support and participate in the overall Aegon UK Talent Acquisition Strategy with responsibility for talent acquisition projects as the function continues to evolve. The role holder will play a key part in developing and refining recruitment processes to promote Inclusion and Diversity.
As the function evolves, the Talent Acquisition Manager will work with Learning and Development to create and execute an Early Careers Programme for graduates and apprenticeships. The Talent Acquisition Manager will own and deliver the Early Careers recruitment campaign.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have experience as an internal talent acquisition specialist, operating at a senior level with proven team management skills. The role will also be responsible for the evolution of the talent team so someone with project skills and experience of developing talent teams will be at a real advantage. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be based in Witham, Essex but will need to be able to travel to Edinburgh.

An attractive salary of up to £70,000 with good benefits.
