Manchester Metropolitan University is always evolving. Right now, we are undergoing intense transformational change making it a really exciting time to join our Resourcing team.
This is a brand new recruitment role and we are looking for someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help drive our in-house recruitment capability forwards.
As our Senior Resourcing Partner, you will become a trusted expert and advisor, building and maintaining relationships and an impeccable reputation with hiring managers.
You will work closely with a great team of Resourcing Partners, but you will also manage a small team of Resourcing Advisers, ensuring an effective and efficient end-to-end recruitment service for the University and a positive candidate experience, always.
We’re looking for someone who can:
Help develop and implement a cohesive recruitment strategy with the Resourcing Business Partners and ensure Resourcing Advisers utilise all sourcing tools effectively.
Work closely with HR Business Partners to understand the landscape and context for roles.
Demonstrate experience of resourcing processes that take advantage of a variety of modern recruitment technologies e.g. applicant tracking systems, onboarding modules, automated video interviewing and ability testing.
Understand the complexities of recruiting for organisations with a matrix structure typically comprised of a wide range of professional services departments.
Develop and own resourcing plans specific to key business areas that enable us to proactively source candidates directly and encourage talent pooling across the departments.
Build relationships quickly and add quality to the full end-to-end resourcing service we offer.
Show experience of working on a variety of resourcing related projects.
Manage a small team of Resourcing Advisors.
Interpret resourcing data and make data driven decisions that improve the existing process.
Manage potentially large contractual relationships with recruitment agencies.
Understand how to align social media usage so it articulates the employer brand and employee value proposition.
Put in place elements of standardisation across recruitment practices.
Upskill large groups of hiring managers so they can deliver best recruitment practise.
Keep up with developments in the wider recruitment industry, maintaining their awareness of modern resourcing technology and practices that can be used to support the ongoing development of our process.
