Organisational Development Manager – Financial Services, London, c£85,000 p/a
Our client is a leading medium sized international investment firm based in the heart of London. A need has arisen to appoint an experienced Organisational Development Manager who will contribute to developing the strategic Learning and Development and cultural agenda for the firm. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Head of OD and with line management responsibility for one direct report. Key responsibilities will include:
Learning & Development
Developing, managing and improving the firms extensive L&D curriculum to meet the needs of employees and the promise of the firms employee value proposition. You will play a critical role in the roll out of a new LMS which will have a particular focus on technical training requirements. Work closely with the ExCo members and team leaders cultivating a deep understanding of the company and its mission to identify innovative training needs. Translating training needs into impactful programmes and ensuring training provision is accessible to all employees across all geographies. Keeping up to date with innovative and best in class approaches, researching new initiative’s and networking externally.
Developing, managing and improving talent management processes both in the UK and overseas. This will involve co-ordinating a number of annual and biannual processes, working with both internal and external stakeholders. Leading the annual employee engagement survey, agreeing the question set and liaising with leadership on results interpretation, presentation and action planning. Drive forward annual performance development reviews and 360-degree feedback process.
Culture & Organisational Development
Supporting and embedding the firms new culture, values and standards of behaviour. Working closely with leadership teams on anticipated team structures and organisational development. Managing a diverse range of internal projects including but not limited to cultural change and diversity and inclusion. Contributing strategically to the development of the firms culture by overseeing a diverse range OD related programmes that are currently in flight.
The successful candidate should be pragmatic in their approach with a strong sense of creativity to organisational development outcomes. Candidates should possess extensive OD / L&D experience and whilst financial services experience is desirable, applications are encouraged from outside sector.
