Learning and Development Specialist
Oakleaf are looking for a Learning and development specialist to work with a fast-growing Telco company. The company have gone through rapid growth and are looking for and vibrant and proactive individual to join and help build their emerging Talent function. The role will be to define the strategic goals for apprenticeships, graduates, interns and work experience programmes, articulating how talent will move into and through the organisation with a focus on diversity.
You will work with hiring managers to understand their needs and then L&D Manager to recommend induction and onboarding solutions across the business.
What you will do?
Work with business stakeholders to agree requirements and future opportunities across all emerging talent programmes.
Build relationships with key education establishments including schools, colleges, universities, apprenticeship training providers.
Maximise our use of the apprenticeship levy funding.
Own the new programmes across the business after roll out. Be the main point of contact for all queries and ensure consistent management of all emerging talent.
Support the delivery of an excellent candidate experience throughout attraction, selection and onboarding.
Design and deliver the on-boarding process for all new hires to include induction activities, content and planning for future e-modules as required
Design and roll out new bespoke induction and onboarding process for all new starters incorporating all levels of the business including emerging talent, management and specialist staff.
Create content for induction and onboarding programme in line with the needs of the business.
Plan e-modules to support the induction and onboarding process
Deliver induction and training courses as and when required
Work closely with the Compliance Team to ensure the inclusion of all mandatory training requirements
What you need to be successful for the role?
Experience designing and delivering Apprenticeship programmes and management of Apprenticeship levy portal
Experience of working with key external stakeholders
Previous experience of creating induction and onboarding processes
Skilled in the delivery of face to face training and presentations
Experience of using Learning Management Systems and MS Office.
