My client higher education provider are looking to recruit a HR Advisor on a 3 month temporary contract that requires an immediate start.
Reporting in to the HR manager and working in a busy team of 5 you be responsible for around 500 staff. You will support the HR function in the provision of professional HR advice and support the organisation across the full range of employee and employee relations issues. You will lead on all: flexible working requests, part-time working requests, managing the sickness process, advising managers on grievances and disciplinaries. You will be advising on all company policies and procedures. A sizeable portion of the role will be to deal with conflict management and managing contentious ER issues and experience with these areas are a must. Aside from managing employee relations you will also take on BAU duties as recruitment, onboarding and learning and development.
To carry out this role you must be immediately available and have strong ER skills.
