Oakleaf Partnership are pleased to be working with a leading Professional/Financial Services firm on a Senior HR Assistant vacancy. Their offices are based in the City and this will be a 9 month FTC initially.
This person will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Preparing offer letters, contracts and partner paperwork.
Collating packs for employment and offers and processing all pre- employment checks
Providing regular updates to the recruitment team regarding the status of new joiner paperwork and escalating any issues
Updating and maintaining the new joiner tracker spreadsheet and transferring new employee details on HR Pro
Conducting the first day meetings for all London based joiners.
Acknowledging all leavers (employees and partners) and calculating outstanding holiday balances.
Preparing leaver documentation including outstanding loans and deductions.
Updating the relevant Payroll Spreadsheet to meet the monthly Payroll deadlines
Ensuring that all end to end HR processes are completed accurately and within the agreed deadlines
Assisting the HR Operations Manager with the end of month reports
Processing monthly sickness reports highlighting any issues to the generalist team.
Ensuring HR files are kept up to date and maintaining HR Pro to ensure that all the information on the system is accurate.
Assisting with reviewing any new HR policies or procedures from an operational perspective.
The ideal candidate will be/have:
At least 3 years' experience in a HR Department (within Financial or Professional Services)
Experience of working in a fast-paced team.
Strong interpersonal management skills
Numerate with excellent IT skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Attention to detail
Previous experience in a similar HR role or shared services environment would be desirable
