Part-time HR Advisor

Part-time HR Advisor position for a not-for-profit organisation in Crawley

Your new company
Our not-for-profit client is expanding rapidly and are currently recruiting for a part-time HR Advisor for 18.75 hour per week. The office is based in Crawley but their may be some occasional travel to their site in Maidstone.

Your new role
As a HR Advisor you will be reporting to the Senior HR Advisor and work with the HR Business Partners and the HR Operational Manager to support the provision of a timely and customer focused generalist HR service. You will be part of a team providing HR support and advice to managers and senior staff including support and advice regarding organisational change and case work relating to absence, performance, grievance and disciplinary issues. You will also be providing a comprehensive Employee Relations service in relation to allocated casework, investigating and diagnosing the issues involved and enabling the resolution as issues as quickly as possible.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role you need to be CIPD qualified or working towards the qualification, significant operational experience at an HR Advisory level providing advice on all employment related matters and experience of developing writing and implementing employment related policies and procedures.

The hours for the position will be 18.75 per week, spread over the week to support the business needs. For example, Monday, Tuesday and Friday, if you are working Monday-Wednesday, you won't be able to puck up urgent ER issues until the following Monday.
