Our client is a multi-billion-pound business with an iconic consumer brand and an accomplished 130-year history. It has over 10% global market share with a range of products in 70+ countries where it is an undisputed market leader. Its purpose and social conscious is second to none and would be a business you would be extremely proud to work for.
It is undergoing a significant global transformation in terms of the way it delivers its products and services. The last couple of years have seen a rigorous approach to cost reduction by streamlining its operating model and bringing about major efficiencies throughout the entire supply chain (the cost savings we refer to are in the hundreds of £millions).
Significant turnaround investment is planned with a focus on innovation and creation of new products, shifting more resources to digital and investing in the platforms and channels to maximise customer engagement and sales.
Strengthening their capability in end to end Talent Management for the Commercial Division is essential if they are to drive through and deliver the turnaround. Ensuring it has the correct organisation design and development to deliver with agility and efficiency is essential. This is where you come in!
We'd like to hear from candidates who can transfer their in-depth specialist and Organisation Design, Organisation Effectiveness, Capability and Talent experience (ideally combined with an HR Business Partnering background) to a complex global business. FMCG experience is preferable.
Understandably, candidates need a track record of success working in large-scale, international matrix businesses with a transformational agenda. Candidates who have worked in private equity backed businesses are likely to "get" the pace of change required.
From a personal perspective, we're looking for the best. Successful candidates will be resilient, impactful individuals with intellectual rigour as well as a pragmatic ability to get your sleeves rolled up and gain traction swiftly to "get things done".
