Your new company
Your new company is based in the easily accessible Blackburn area, a busy manufacturing company overseeing a multisite operation across the UK. This organisation is fast-moving, challenging and very rewarding. Due to ongoing projects and growth, they are now looking to recruit a HR Advisor on an interim basis to oversee business change.
Your new role
Your new job will involve highly complex caseloads, as well as the opportunity to actively support you HR Manager in the sourcing and implementation of new systems and moving outsourced services in-house. You will be providing first line advice to line managers, coaching on disciplinary and grievance procedures, dealing with occupational health referrals and union negotiations in addition to assisting with the upkeep on HR systems, salary benchmarking and an evaluation of benefits.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will preferably be CIPD Level 5 or above qualified with a largely generalist HR background aspiring to gain more strategic experience within a HR function. You will be accustomed to a manufacturing or similar setting, have worked within a similar capacity and able to commit to a long-term assignment. You will be comfortable with HR systems and Excel, as well as proficient in employee relations issues with some exposure to coaching and mentoring line managers.
