Would you like to own the end-to-end talent agenda for an entrepreneurial P/E backed healthcare business which is the clear market leader its specialist sector?
Our client has an impressive track record of growth since it started in 2009 and with continued growth plans, this could be where you come in.
They are a well-known brand with a progressive and entrepreneurial edge. Having received second stage P/E backing last year, it's full steam ahead to deliver the next phase of their growth, both across the UK and Europe.
They pride themselves on their core values which are to put their people first and look after their patients. Customer service is key and there is a clear focus on innovation and quality. They have an excellent understanding of what has made them successful and the challenge is now to continue their growth trajectory and ensure the infrastructure and support is there to achieve the business' objectives.
Reporting into the Board the Head of Talent will play an important role in building and delivering the professional brand. They will focus on the attraction, development, engagement and retention of its valued colleagues and self-employed clinicians (both those working in practice and those in the Support Office). Hiring and retaining the best possible people is key to differentiating patient/ customer service. Developing innovative development programmes for colleagues and clinicians in the business is key to the future success and long-term growth of the business
As with many young entrepreneurial businesses which have grown quickly, retaining the strong culture that has made the business what it is today is crucial as it continues to expand. Key to this role is creating and rolling out career development frameworks to appeal to all clinical and support colleagues at all stages of their careers. The opportunity to differentiate the business amongst its competitors and become an industry champion of "what good looks like" is undoubted.
As the successful candidate you will have an accomplished background within Talent Management, Development and Resourcing. Ideally you will have experience of delivery within growing service environments. It is quite likely that you will have experience of working in a larger business (than the 2,000 our client currently employs) and be ready to transfer that experience to be a "bigger fish in a smaller pool".
Based in the Gloucestershire Support Office at least 2-3 days a week, to be successful in this role, you'll need to be comfortable with London and national UK travel.
So, what's in it for you? This is unique a business with a leadership team focused on a positive growth story, you'll pretty much have a blank canvas to be creative. Their success will only be achieved if they hire the very best into this role. If this sounds like you, then we look forward to hearing from you.
