Senior HR Advisor - Legal

A leading international Law Firm are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team. As Senior HR Advisor, you will act as first point of escalation and key contact for the HR Operations and HR Business Partners along with delivering HR services to the firm. Key responsibilities as the Senior HR Advisor will include (but not be limited to):

  • Leading the day to day workings of the HR Operations team

  • Maintaining an open dialogue on team performance to the HR Manager for Operations so that any team concerns can be dealt with accordingly

  • Ensuring adequate cover provision for the HR Operations team during planned and unplanned absences and personally filling gaps as needed operationally

  • Contributing and occasionally leading team meetings

  • Triage and leading any escalated concerns from the business whilst ensuring the HR Manager is current on details

  • Ensuring the induction, joiners, movers and leavers process are assigned to the team in a consistent and fair manner

  • Training new team members in all aspects of the shared service team

  • Working closely with HR Business Partners to understand how HR Operations team can support

  • Leading on day-to-day HR operations with support from HR Manager

  • Working with the business and HRBP's to ensure all employee issues are resolved

  • Acting as a trusted advisor and sounding board regarding operational issues for employees and HR Ops team

  • Monitoring and overseeing sickness absence

  • Overseeing onboarding process, probation review process and new joiner referencing process to ensure it runs smoothly and effectively

  • Assisting HR BP's in coordinating delivery of performance management, review and salary review for each practice area

  • Supporting international secondment movements

  • Assisting with ER related issues as required

  • Assisting and leading small-scale projects for the HR Ops team

As the Senior HR Advisor, you will possess:

  • Minimum 3 years HR generalist and operations experience at advisor level and ideally within a shared Service

  • Solid understanding of current employment legislation

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills

  • Good knowledge of employee relations process

  • Strong MS Office skills
