People Director - Manchester City Centre - Competitive Salary

Already listed on the London Stock Exchange, it is a hugely successful business and has ambitious plans for further expansion in the UK and internationally.
It's now looking for a first-class People Director to play a key role within the Senior Leadership Team and develop the people strategy, lead change and partner with the board. The role combines strategy with hands on implementation and will suit someone who is adept at developing high performing teams and balancing that with a values-based organisational culture.
Key areas of focus will include partnering the board and leadership teams to drive strategy and change, implementing a highly scalable, agile organisational structure, developing a first-class approach to attraction, recruitment, talent development, engagement and devising a reward strategy that acutely reflects the dynamics of this competitive market.

Who will this role suit? Whatever your background, we're looking for a commercially focused and technically strong HR professional, someone with the experience, gravitas, entrepreneurial flair and intellect to drive the business forward. You must have experience of growing similar sized businesses or divisions, ideally on an international scale and at pace. Digital/Consumer experience is ideal although not vital.
Strong candidates are likely to currently be in a number one role, having already operated as part of a leadership team in an entrepreneurial fast-growth organisation, possibly with an international footprint.
"Rolling up your sleeves" will be important, and we're looking for candidates to demonstrate they can deliver operational excellence and work at pace in a fast moving highly competitive business.
The role is based in Central Manchester and relocation assistance may be offered to attract candidates from outside the North West.
