HR Advisor

A fantastic initial 3-month temporary HR Advisor opportunity is available within an established Financial Services firm in Central London.

The role requires the successful candidate to work within a fast-paced HR team focusing on the employee relations across a key business unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the HR team reporting into the HR BP

  • Responsible for around 250 staff in 2 locations

  • Dealing with employees and line managers on Employee Relations procedures and issues

  • Responsible for the entire recruitment cycle including creating job specifications, liaising with hiring managers, briefing agencies on the vacancies, accepting, logging and reviewing CV's onto the recruitment tool, shortlisting candidates, setting up and conducting interviews, relaying feedback and managing the starter / rejection process.

  • Running graduate recruitment process

  • Carrying out first day inductions, obtaining employment references and talking through the company profile and culture.

  • Accountable for contractual documentation

  • Running Grievance and appeal procedures

  • Conducting disciplinary processes.

  • Responsible for data entry and amendments in HR system

  • Streamlining HR process

  • Conducting exit interviews for employees and providing feedback to the line managers.

  • Organisation of maternity/paternity leave and processes.

  • Support and cover of the HR Manager as and when needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in HR Function

  • Excellent Microsoft capabilities

  • Excellent organisational processes

  • Experience of working in a HR capacity within a Financial or Professional Services firm
