My client, a growing Premium High Street Retail brand, is recruiting for a Learning and Development Partner to join the team initially on a maternity cover basis.

The successful Learning and Development Partner will report in to the Head of L&D within a small team, working to shape and deliver the learning agenda for all new and mid-senior Managers in head office (approx. 200).

Responsibilities include;

  • Working with HR Business Partners to ensure programmes and interventions are aligned to key learning outcomes

  • Build the capability in the Leadership and Management population to have great performance and feedback conversations

  • Deliver end to end programme management of management and leadership development initiatives including vendor management, budget management, accreditation and stakeholder engagement

  • Lead on the instructional design elements of programme development

  • Ensure appropriate multi-media and development resource is available and in line with the brand

  • Responsible for all learning and wellbeing events

  • Project management of new curriculum creation from conception to delivery

  • Reinforce and embed the brands approach to performance management by optimising the systems and processes used

  • Lead the end to end performance cycle for the business working closely with the HRBPs

  • Work with HRBPs and Head of Talent and Development to develop delivery demand plans

  • Provide 1-1 coaching for manager and high potential individuals within the business

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role;

  • Educated to Degree level (Ideally in HR, Psychology or relevant subject) and/ or CIPD accreditation

  • Previous experience in designing and deploying a range of learning interventions

  • Experience of designing behavioural and operational interventions

  • Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and best-practice in learning design and development

  • Experience in a fast paced environment, managing multiple challenges

  • Excellent organisation and presentation skills

  • Able to naturally build relationships and engage and influence stakeholders at varied levels of seniority

  • Natural creative flair

  • Strong team player with a desire to support peers and wider functions as required
