Learning and Development Manager

I am exclusively working with a care organisation based in Chelmsford who are looking for a Learning and Development Manager to join them on a permanent basis as soon as possible.

This is a new role within the organisation, where you will be working closely with the Head of HR & OD and the Compliance team whilst leading a team of Learning and Development Advisors and Administrators and being responsible for managing the creation, delivery and efficiency of bespoke training programmes to meet the business needs.

  • Assume overall responsibility for the management, development and reporting of statutory and mandatory training and appraisals, ensuring accurate recording and updating of information and systems and effective analysis and reporting of training data to inform future planning and evidence annual Budget requirements and adjustments

  • Lead employees in working flexibly and collaboratively across structural boundaries as part of cross functional teams, and in support of key functional outputs, regardless of where they sit within the organisation

  • Lead the development of organisational capability through good people management, including the training, development, mentoring and coaching of team members and lead the organisation to a high-performing, customer-centric culture through exemplar behaviour in accordance with organisation.

They are looking for someone who can build strong relationships, has a flexible approach, commercially minded, motivating and has line management experience.

Please note that this role involves travel between two sites where you are expected to split your time.
