The role will be responsible for reimaging our approach to driving a performance culture at Quilter.
We need to support Quilter people to be clear on what’s expected of them and how they contribute to our strategy and purpose. About the role
Working as part of our newly created Talent and culture team. you will be responsible for some of the following;
Reimagining Performance & Talent - This role will support us in building our foundations; reimagining our current talent and performance management practices to be leader led, trusted and valued by Quilter employees and leaders. Creating a sense of fairness, transparency, and a meritocracy will be critical to achieving a high performance culture.
People Review Operating Rhythm - Responsible for developing a compelling framework to support a deeper view of our people; enabling us to look at the ‘health’ of our organisation from a people perspective. Critical to our success will be bringing together strands of currently separate activity, into joined up, leader led dialogues.
Executive Pipeline Capability Review - Ownership for leading our executive capability review, where we can look across the organisation at our executive talent pipeline, identifying opportunities for talent mobility, critical succession gaps and sponsorship for our key talent.
Talent Visibility - Developing a structure to facilitate active movement of talent across our business areas ensuring we can develop and retain our people. Establish buy in from senior leaders, engagement with the HR community and share successes across the business. Create opportunities for the businesses to get to know each other’s talent (i.e. talent speed networking)
Technology Enabling - Partner with Service Delivery/Systems team, and external partners to support implementation of our systems, ensure we are maximising technologies to support our talent and performance approach.
Cyclical Activity - Lead the cyclical activity for the current performance and talent approaches, ensuring full partnership with the reward team to deliver one message and implementation for our HR teams, managers and employees.
COE Partnerships - lead the interactions with our partners in MI & Data and Internal Comms to ensure we’re using insight to develop our products and developing engaging communications to promote performance and career progression in Quilter.
Ideally our successful candidate will have experience in the following areas;
Partnering skills - HR and/or Talent Business Partnering background and experience; the ability to interpret business needs, and translate into solutions.
Culture & Engagement experience - experience of developing and leading culture and engagement initiatives within/across businesses; able to engage the hearts & minds of our people.
Commercial acumen - evidence of understanding, articulating and supporting business strategy through programmes of work over both short and long term cycles.
Stakeholder skills - a proven ability to coach, facilitate and influence up to Exec level leaders and teams.
Managing complexity and ‘strategic thinking’ capability - experience in delivering work and projects in complex environments with an ability to simplify that complexity to deliver positive outcomes.
Culture shaper - an ability to role model and advocate for the Quilter values with an inclusive, assertive and collaborative approach
Communication skills - led and influenced in strategic forums. Articulate, concise and compelling in both oral and writing style.
Data and insights - comfortable creating and compiling data to derive insight on business challenges and develop opportunities to improve successful outcomes to work.
Creative thinking - practised in applying external perspective to internal challenges. Stays current with contemporary thinking and is willing to challenge beliefs and traditional approaches to drive a higher quality organisational performance and culture.

Our office is open from 8am - 5pm. Everyone works a seven hour day (plus one hour for lunch)
