The Oakleaf Partnership are seeking an Internal Recruitment Manager for a global business based Sussex.
As Recruitment Manager in this busy and challenging role you will have a fantastic opportunity to stamp your mark on this incredible organisation by providing global leadership on recruitment strategy and best practice and through the delivery of a high quality recruitment and resourcing service at both strategic and operational levels.
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing recruitment and resourcing strategies for a global workforce, frequently operating in complex situations around the world
Developing the organisation's recruitment brand, engaging with stakeholders at all levels to ensure engagement and overseeing the delivery of an excellent candidate experience
Providing a resourcing business partner service to senior managers within the Corporate Centre and implementing an effective on-boarding process for new staff.
Leading on external international recruitment activity for specific projects
Leading on the development, implementation and usage of new and existing recruitment technology, including social media and a global e-recruitment system.
Building the organisation's competencies into recruitment processes and rolling this out across the organisation
Owning and managing the relationship and performance of external agencies
Coaching hiring managers to ensure that selection processes are in line with employment legislation and organisational values and recruitment principles
To be successful you will require:
Substantial experience of in-house recruitment, operating at all levels of the business, including with senior leaders
Proven experience of working at management level in an international context and influencing change in a highly matrixed organisation
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement around best practice recruitment strategy, practice and process
Demonstrable senior expertise in international recruitment and the full range of approaches including direct sourcing, agencies, head-hunting etc.
Experience of leading on due diligence in recruitment, including immigration issues and candidate vetting mechanisms.
Good knowledge of IT recruitment systems (previous experience of implementing an e-recruitment system would be desirable)
Strong people management skills, competent in coaching and mentoring others, both within the team and more widely across the organisation
Extensive and up to date knowledge of recruitment best practice and the ability to translate this into viable tools and products
The role holder will be expected to work with a wide range of stakeholders based across global regional offices and may therefore be required to travel internationally from time to time.
