HR Operations Team Lead - Vienna

Oakleaf Partnership are currently working with a large technology focused retail business who are looking to appoint a permanent Team Lead - HR Operations to join their team based in Vienna. The position will have 4 direct reporting and reporting into the Head of HR. You will be responsible for the team, who on a daily basis provide transactional HR support including payroll to employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle. You will work in collaboration with the wider HR team in Vienna to deliver a service to the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the provision of a timely, consistent HR service to manager, employees and external parties ensuring compliance with employment legislation, policies and good employment practice

  • Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver a service to the business and internationally where required

  • Fully responsible for payroll including holding key relationships with external payroll related providers

  • Ensure data accuracy of employment data in Vienna

  • Assist in the development or procedures and application of policy

  • Conduct all audits and quality reviews

To be successful for the position you should be fluent in English and German with thorough knowledge of the Austrian labour law. You should also have significant experience leading a team including developing those early in their career. You should be confident working to SLA and KPI policies and have strong payroll experience.
