International HR Manager

I am currently recruiting a HR Manager for my Unionised Logistics Client in Manchester. The purpose of the role is to act as change agent, leading and supporting overall business improvements and growth across multiple global locations.

Key accountabilities will include:

* Act as a business partner and trusted advisor through the development of effective relationships with Senior Management Teams becoming an integral partner
* Partner with Managers to efficiently handle all employee relations issues in a pragmatic, commercially sound and efficient manner
* Provide up to date advice to Managers on the principles of employment law
* Maintain effective working relationships with the recognised Union - Unite
* Lead on all HR issues up to and including employment tribunal claims, redundancy, organisational restructures, terminations, TUPE, grievances, misconduct, code of conduct issues and disciplinary action
* Coach, mentor, challenge and develop managers to equip them with the appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively manage
* Actively support and understand compliance in line with current legislation
* Reinforce the importance of continuous management, including objective setting, giving and receiving honest feedback, and personal development
* Review and maintain recruitment processes and procedures ensuring they are fit for purpose and legally compliant
* Assist Managers with salary bench marking, ensuring roles and packages are consistent and in line with market rates

To be considered for the role you will have the following skills and experience;

* Sector experience preferred from Manufacturing, Transport or Logistics
* International HR Experience
* Experience gained within a Unionised environment
* Experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced complex environment
* Strong ER/IR experience
