A rare yet exciting opportunity now exists for an exceptional HR Director to join one of the most recognisable sporting brands in the world – a role which is both business critical and high-profile within the organisation.
Reporting to the COO, this individual will play a vital role in promoting HR development within this ambitious and evolving organisation. With an existing HR structure in place, the successful candidate will be tasked with commencing early assessment of the entire HR offering with the intention of changing performance, culture and behaviours – upskilling capabilities in order to maximise potential and achieve business goals. They will be expected to readily emerge themselves across all levels of the employee population, with the prime focus in driving practice HR methodology.
Operate as a trusted adviser to the COO on all strategic HR matters, seeking involvement in all areas, providing strategic, commercial and operational HR support.
Undertake a thorough review of the HR infrastructure – designing a more equipped HR strategy that will include the development, delivery of organisational planning, culture change, talent management and succession planning in line with the development of the current HR team structure.
Introduce more relevant HR systems, able to lead and support through existing system upgrades and new technology interventions.
Lead to improve the delivery of the operational HR service, aimed at influencing strong day-to-day presence and ensuring the organisation is continually evolving and is operating to its optimum in terms of its performance.
High impact, corporate HR Director/Senior Head of HR, commercial and proven HR Generalist. Experienced in interacting at Board level and adept at directly influencing the future direction of the business in terms of the people agenda.
Familiar with providing all aspects of HR support to the Leadership teams and its wider workforce.
True strategic Business Partner with proven success in proactively designing, delivering and executing HR activity - preferably from within a well-respected corporate environment.
Able to bring the intellect and gravitas to the role, possessing the grit and determination to get things done.
Proven, senior HR professional, with the experience and track record to take on the entire people agenda – able to drive improved performance under a philosophy of continuous improvement.
For this role we are prepared to consider candidates who willing to relocate to the North West or who are open to work away for the majority of the week.
