HR Assistant £28,000
My client is leading fashion brand looking for a proactive HR Assistant to join their team. As a company they design, develop, market and sell products under owned and licensed brands on a global scale. Offering fantastic employee development and benefits too.
Duties and responsibilities
To prepare general correspondence and contractual documentation relating to the HR Department.
Attending HR Meetings as requested such as disciplinary, grievance and absence meetings and taking accurate minutes as and when required.
To aid on ad hoc HR projects as and when required
Coordination of training activities
Planning and sometimes delivering training including new staff onboarding
Log and provide information to Payroll in line with the payroll cut offs
Any reasonable additional duties as requested
Maintaining current HR files and databases in support of HRIS specialist
Perform file audits ensure all employee documentation is collected and maintained
Complete and action and outstanding paperwork related to contractual changes or formal processes
Assist line managers as a first point of contact in understanding policies and procedures
Advise on pay and other remuneration issues including benefits and salary review processes
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in working in a retail environment desired
Experience of working with geographically dispersed teams across the UK
Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization
Excellent Customer service ethos
Familiar with fundamental concepts of UK HR regulations, confidentiality, data protection etc.
Studied HR at some level or has demonstrated interest in pursuing a CIPD.
Experience in low level ER cases
Awareness of UK employment law
Competent with all Microsoft office platforms
Demonstrates organised, proactive and accurate approach to all tasks
Demonstrates flexibility in their approach. Able to adapt their ways of working through management feedback
Able to communicate clearly both written and orally
Demonstrated ability to work within a fast paced, dynamic HR team and wider business
