HR Advisor - Fixed Term Contract

A well established manufacturing company in North Leeds are recruiting to a new HR Advisor job on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. Established in 1947, they are a well respected manufacturing site, part of a larger Group, and with a significant contract win recently they are set to grow further in 2019.
Your new role
Working in partnership with the Head of HR, you will deliver a full and comprehensive HR service across the business in line with the business and people strategies, for approx 500 employees. This is initially a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a period of maternity leave however could be extended to 18 months. You will be involved in all aspects of HR, including employee relations, recruitment and talent management, implementing policies and procedures, supporting and coaching the management teams, L&D, pay and reward and interesting and new HR project work.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone who is qualified to level 5 or above CIPD. You will have proven experience of working within a human resources department at HR Business Partner or HR Advisor level, specifically including having worked with complex ER issues. You will have a good generalist background and ideally have experience of mentoring or supervising junior HR staff members. The job requires someone with excellent communication skills who is organised, able to prioritise their own workload, who is emotionally intelligent with excellent people skills. Experience of working in a manufacturing or engineering setting would be advantageous.
