HR Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR candidate looking for a new opportunity as a HR Advisor. The candidate must have 1-2 year's experience in HR, and be immediately available to start (or on a 1 week's notice).

Client Details

The client are a leading IT distributor, with offices nationwide. They were nominated for several awards in 2018 due to their innovative and cutting edge mentality, and are now looking for a HR Advisor to join their luxury offices in St. Albans on a temp basis.


As a HR Advisor your key responsibilities will be:

  • Developing and implementing new policies and procedures
  • Assisting with Employee Relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management etc.
  • Act as support to the HR Administrator
  • Lead on recruitment
  • Have involvement with probation meetings and yearly appraisals
  • Acting as a point of contact for HR queries
  • Exit interviews
  • Weekly/ Monthly reporting using Excel


The ideal candidate will:

  • Be available to start a new role with short notice
  • Be a car driver
  • Be able to work hours of 9am - 5.30pm
  • Have experience as a HR Advisor, HR Officer or Senior HR Assistant
  • Have excellent IT skills, particularly using Microsoft Excel
  • Be able to work well within a team
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
