Head of Development

Are you a Learning & Development (L&D) professional looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Do you want to make a real difference to an organisation and the people? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our award winning team based in our Bristol office. We are currently recruiting for our new Head of Development to lead and develop our L&D team.

Our L&D mission is: Using learning to enhance the performance of the business by unlocking the potential of our people. This belief has led us to be re-awarded Gold accreditation against the new Investors in People Standard, which we are incredibly proud of.

As our Head of Development you will be working with, and reporting to, the Chief People Officer to develop and implement the firm’s L&D strategy, ensuring this supports the firm’s business plans, and unlocks the full potential of our people.

This role will be challenging but also very rewarding, to be successful you will need to have previous experience of operating at a senior level within L&D, the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, be confident in providing direction and advice on L&D solutions, and overall want to promote a positive working environment.

You would be joining the L&D team at an exciting time of change, as we review and refresh how we deliver our learning. A recent internal focus group showed our team as highly respected, but as an ambitious firm we are continually looking to improve our offering. Experience of e-learning, blended techniques and a want to test and try new innovative ways of learning would be highly desirable to help us achieve this.
