Your new role
As Recruitment Assistant you will be required to provide an efficient and effective recruitment support service to the university's central services. You will be required to work closely with and support recruiting managers and HR. Specifically, you will take lead on the onboarding process for all recruitment, this will include pre-employment checks, issuing contracts, and setting up personal records through iTrent. Additionally, you will be required to lead on all recruitment administration including producing all recruitment correspondence, including letters of appointment, letters to unsuccessful candidates and liaise with the internal panel regarding candidate feedback. This is a part time role - 21 hours over 3 days paying £14-16p/h, the role is interim until September 2019.
What you'll need to succeed
You will demonstrate excellent working knowledge and experience of end to end recruitment and onboarding. You will have experience using a HR system, Itrent experience is highly desirable but not essential. As an individual you will be proactive and eager to deliver outstanding customer service as you will be required to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders of all seniority across the organisation. This is an interim role from February 2019 until September 2019, you must be immediately available or on a one week notice period.
