Learning & Development Manager - Croydon

A top UK based Solicitors firm are recruiting for a Learning & Development Manager to join their team. As the Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Assisting in the preparation of the Company's annual learning and development budget

  • Assisting in the preparation of the Company's annual learning and development programme

  • Delivering and maintaining those elements of training deemed mandatory by the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority)

  • Assisting in maintaining Performance Management Framework, identifying and reporting on trends accordingly

  • Keeping under review the training methods in order to aid the learning of the workforce

  • Undertaking needs analysis when and where required and developing training content and delivering internally

  • Keeping under review the learning styles and modes of training delivery and ensuring these are appropriate and relevant

  • Overseeing the learning events and ensuring these remain relevant

  • Evaluating and keeping under review the range of external training providers

  • Coordinating delivery of staff appraisals in conjunction with line managers and stakeholders

  • Ensuring accurate training records are maintained

As the Learning & Development Manager, you will possess:

  • Minimum of two years managerial experience

  • Minimum of three years' experience working in Learning & Development

  • Experience working in a regulated environment

  • Knowledge of change methods, needs analysis and learning methods
