Purpose of role
To assist the Head of Talent Development and Talent Development Manager with the implementation of the Talent Development strategy, new initiatives and programmes and to provide innovative, business-focused solutions to support the professional development of all staff.
Provide first-line advice to managers and individuals with appropriate development solutions in line with best practice guidelines
Monitor the effectiveness and feedback from fee-earner (0 - 5 PQE) and business services career development framework to ensure the programmes continue to meet the needs of the business and update / make suggestions for improvement to the Talent Development (TD) Manager
Conduct regular training needs analysis and design (and deliver where appropriate) tailored development options to meet needs of individuals and groups
Support the Head of TD and TD manager with the roll out of milestone programmes for legal professionals and any other development related projects
Use Percipio to research and identify creative and cost-efficient learning opportunities to enhance the existing programme and offer a blended and mobile learning approach
Design and delivery of the Talent Development presentation as part of the Firm's New Joiners Induction and ensure all new joiners complete the New Joiners Development Programme
Design, delivery, facilitation and co-ordination of the Firm's Apprentices, Trainee Development Programme (Induction and PSC) and NQ inductions across all offices
Ensure updates to the departmental internal communications including the online portal, TD bulletins and other related documentation are completed as required
Prepare relevant Talent Development policies or Firmwide frameworks that have a development focus
Build strong relationships within the firm at all levels in order to understand the priorities of the various practice groups / departments
Build strong relationships with external suppliers to ensure effective design and delivery of all TD solutions
Promote the work and profile of the TD department by providing excellentclient service to all staff in the UK&ME region

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Confident and engaging presenter and facilitator.
Good team player and able to quickly establish collaborative working relationships with the team and others within the wider firm and cross-culturally
Strong influencing skills across all levels to ensure key stakeholders are kept fully informed and are supportive of TD activities
Strong attention to detail, professional and calm under pressure and highly organised to successfully manage a full and varied workload
