The new Head of Reward will lead on a complex reward strategy delivering everything across the full spectrum of benefits, incentives and pensions. Your aim will be to make the organisation an employer of choice for the absolute best talent on the market.
The organisation is a complex and unique financial services institution and as such it is imperative that candidates have experience of working within FS in a recent role. The company are less than 8 years old and have already made an impact to the economy and SME clients that they serve. They have doubled in size with a high growth strategy and will continue to deliver ground breaking solutions to small businesses. Based in Sheffield and in London, the Head of Reward role could be based in either location but with a strong bias towards Sheffield. With lovely offices and an engaged and passionate workforce, the business has a real sense of purpose that can be felt throughout the organisation.
The Head of Reward will have responsibility for the following:
- Salary Benchmarking
- Creation of job families
- LTIP scheme
- STIP scheme
- Incentives and bonus schemes
- Input into attraction and retention strategy from a benefits angle
- REMCO preparation
- Presenting to REMCO
- Payroll reporting
- People Analytics function
- Line management of a team of 3
- Pensions knowledge
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their technical ability in all the key areas of responsibility and will have the gravitas and experience to present to the REMCO. You will also be commercially focused and contribute to the wider People strategy. Candidates must have recent experience of Financial services
The client is offering a base salary of up to £85,000 but will offering London weighting if the candidates is based in the South. An excellent and above average pension contribution and holiday package. Up to 30% STIP, 4 x LA and flexible working hours to suit commuting. There is also the option to work from home occasionally.
