Your new role
Your new role will involve running the HR function day to day alongside the HR Manager. This role will involve dealing with the end to end recruitment life cycle and to deliver strategic plans to achieve business goals. To support and to provide advice and guidance to line managers and act as a mentor/coach to improve management capability. Your role will include managing relationships with trade union representatives and to help and support in disciplinaries and grievance cases, guiding line manager through to make a conclusion.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced HR generalist with a preferred background within a manufacturing or blue collar organisation. You will be CIPD qualified or working towards it and have previous experience dealing with trade unions.
