Generalist Interim Head of HR Role with a country-wide retailer.

Client Details

Country-wide, family led retailer that has been around for 20 years with over 60 locations across the UK and Ireland.

Description

  • To continually review effective resourcing and development of organisation capability in line with business demands

  • To assess future business activities and prepare to support and manage impact on people and roles

  • To lead key HR initiatives and change programmes to ensure they are delivered in accordance with agreed requirements

  • Provide high quality guidance and support to line management in developing and shaping people management solutions to achieve business objectives.

  • Coach, support, mentor and challenge managers in the application of HR Policies and practices, provide advice and guidance on complex HR issues in order to minimise risk to the business.

  • Liaise with Department heads to ensure high calibre candidates are recruited effectively, efficiently and to best practice guidelines.

  • Act as single point of contact for employees in client group

Profile

  • Minimum CIPD Level 5

  • Full UK employment law capability, knowledge of Irish Employment law advantageous

  • Retail/ Hospitality background essential
