Head of HR

City based firm looking for an experience Head of HR to join them asap on a permanent basis (90-100k)

Looking for a candidate to devise and implement human resources practices that support a high performance culture and the recruitment and on-going development of a highly capable team. To lead the Human Resources, Learning and Development, Recruitment and Reception teams and to ensure that each team meets its objectives for the business and to provide commercial advice and guidance to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive and the Senior Management Team on any HR issues that arise.

The major areas of responsibility are:

  • Compliance with employment legislation

  • HR policy development and documentation

  • Employee relations

  • Organisational culture, morale and motivation

  • Employee welfare and health, support and counselling

  • Employee communication

  • Compensation, rewards and benefits

  • Employee onboarding, development, and training

  • Performance management and improvement systems

  • Coaching and succession planning
