Your new role
As the HR Assistant you will have a range of duties which ultimately will assist the HR team as a whole. You will be required to deal with all of the HR Administration tasks including contracts, offers, new starters, leaver, on boarding etc. as well as dealing with any day to day HR Administration tasks that may come in.
You will also be required to assist the HR BP in a number of ER cases. You will attend investigations and disciplinaries to take note which will see you gain a lot of exposure to that side of HR.
You will be required to advice staff on a number of lower level HR Queries as well as advising on Policy and processes within the business.
You will also be required to assist in the end to end recruitment process.
This is a very hands on, operational role and will require some degree of flexibility in work load as you may be required to assist with a variety of different HR duties on an Ad-Hoc basis.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience within a fast pace HR Assistant role previously. Alternatively, you will have worked in a HR Administration role however you will have picked up a lot more duties such as low level advising and recruitment.
You will have some experience in delivering low level advice to managers and you will be confident in delivering this advice on a day to day basis,.
You must be confident and comfortable in a very hands on, operational role.
You will ideal have a CIPD qualification or be studying towards one however this is not essential.
You will be offered a brilliant opportunity to work for a very well know business with a great working atmosphere. This role is offered on a temporary basis until the end of March initially however there is a very high possibility for extension and for the role to go permanent. The role is paying up to £23,000 per annum
