Talent Team Coordinator

The role of the Talent team is to support the Firm’s ambition to be a Magnet for Talent, we are looking for a Talent Coordinator to support the delivery of some of our key talent programmes/projects that will help us develop and retain our talent. You will support the delivery of our Journey to Partner Programme which supports our top Director talent to transition in to the KPMG Partnership. You will also support our annual Talent Review process which reviews colleagues’ performance, potential, promotion readiness and retention. You will also be involved in other ad-hoc talent work.
This will involve working closely with the wider Talent team and several key stakeholders within KBS.
We rotate talent projects therefore you will get exposure to all areas of talent management and will not be limited to the above only.

Responsible for the co-ordination, administration and continuous improvement of the Journey to Partner and Annual Talent Review process

Journey to Partner

- Working with the Journey to Partner manager to design a high touch end to end process
- Draft and maintain project and communications plans
- Prepare and draft all communications
- Create and maintain candidate tracker
- Support in the creation of PowerPoint presentations regarding the process for various leadership meetings
- Maintain Journey to Partner candidate and sponsor portal, working with the Create team on design
- Provide first-line telephone/email support, ensuring that queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
- Exercising judgement and referring queries to more senior team members as appropriate
- Work with external Provider Penna to ensure ‘Candidate Insights’ sessions happen as appropriate
- Schedule panel interviews with senior Partners working in conjunction with PA’s
- Ensure all supporting documents such as candidate paperwork, sponsor and panellist guidance etc. are up to date
- Help to facilitate the panel interviews supporting senior Partners and candidates in the process
- Helping to ensure the process runs efficiently by developing strong working relationships with both the team and relevant internal stakeholders
- Provide analysis as required using excel
- Remain discreet and confidential at all times

Annual Talent Reviews

- Working in collaboration with the Talent Manager and Performance Development team to design and deliver the interim talent review process firm-wide
- Coordinate PD/Talent Taskforce meetings – including preparing the agenda and taking note of all agreed actions
- Following up on actions and reporting back to the relevant team members
- Draft and maintain project plan
- Maintaining PD/Talent SharePoint content
- Draft materials to support the business with the delivery of the process
- Work with the People Technology and M.I. teams on ensuring the Qlik Sense reporting application is fit for purpose, including supporting guidance
- Provide first-line telephone/email support, exercising judgement and referring queries to more senior team members as appropriate
- Coordinate the After Action Review meeting and outputs


- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Strong Microsoft skills – excel (v-lookups/pivot tables) and PowerPoint
- Ability to take the initiative, forward plan and find pragmatic solutions
- Strong drive and resilience and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Interest in developing new and innovative approaches to improve processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in systems/talent management desirable but not essential
- Customer Service mind-set
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills
- Must be professional and discrete
- Experience of creating reports desirable but not essential
