Our client growing financial services firm is on the search for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join their firm on a permanent basis located in London, with regular travel to European locations. This is a stand alone role, reporting into HR based internationally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of recruitment across the firm and its various European locations. You will manage volume hires both permanent and interim and be responsible for stakeholder engagement, candidate attraction, shortlisting and selection right through to onboarding. To be considered for this role you will ideally come from a solid recruitment background ideally within banking or financial services.
Your new role
Ensuring that recruiting requirements are in line with company strategy
Meeting with department managers to understand requirements and align them with candidate profiles
Determining applicant suitability by interviewing applicants, analysing responses, verifying references and comparing qualifications to job requirements
Coordinating the full selection process (setting and attending interviews, organising assessments, obtaining and documenting relevant feedback etc)
Building and establishing applicant sources through various networks and sourcing candidates by using databases and social media
Collaborating with Marketing to attract the right applicants through the firms careers page and other advertising media
Aligning job descriptions and ensuring that the terminology is standard across all vacancies
Avoiding legal challenges in the various jurisdictions by understanding legislation and recommending and implementing new policies and procedures related to recruitment
Ensuring that the selection process is in line with best practice and is fair and transparent
Maintaining the Recruitment information system and ensuring that it is manned and updated by all users of the system
Managing relationships with recruitment agencies and negotiating terms of business
Providing analytical and well documented reports on a monthly basis
Other duties as may be determined by Senior Manager - HR/Manager - HR
What you'll need to succeed
Proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter working in a standalone role within banking or financial services organisaiton will be a must
Experience in working across the generalist remit within banking, covering a variety of roles at all levels
Have hands on experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
Ability to source candidates via your own network, advertising methods and direct search using LinkedIn etc
Proven experience in working across both generalist, FS and technical remits
Ability to work across a range of European regions
Proven experience in partnering with the business across all aspects of the full recruitment lifecycle
Ability to conduct different types of interviews for all roles up to c.suite and give feedback and recommendations of hires to the business.
This role will be located in London on a permanent basis, however will require regular travel to European locations.
