We're currently working with a global financial services firm on an opportunity to join them as a Recruiter. This role will cover international hires (Europe) and be based in their London office.

As part of a team of 5, you will work closely with the Recruitment Manager on front office hires and will be solely responsible for hires across several other business areas including Risk and Compliance.

Candidates would ideally have worked in a fast-paced financial services firm as a Recruiter and must have had extensive experience in sourcing directly.

This is a close working team, and a very visible client facing role thus it really would only suit people that have confidence, drive and resilience.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Implementing direct recruitment strategy for UK & EU

  • Proactively sourcing candidates through various means - advertising, referrals, networking, direct approaches etc.

  • Headhunting and market mapping for talent in front office roles

  • Screening applicants and providing shortlists to hiring managers, providing feedback to candidates in a timely manner

  • Leading competency-based interviews

  • Working with the recruitment team on the firm's employer value proposition

  • Ad-hoc projects

Candidates suitable for this position will:

  • Have experience of working in a recruitment position, sourcing candidates directly either in-house or RPO (agency only experience won't be considered)

  • Have had experience recruiting within the financial services sector and ideally with international coverage

  • Be results driven, able to stay focused in a fast-paced environment

  • Be confident in managing stakeholder relationships
