HR Advisor - Legal

A top global Law firm based in London are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join their team. Reporting into the HR Manager, this role will have a focus on Trainee Development and will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the organization of and attending events for the current trainee solicitors and future joiners

  • Delivering induction presentations and presentations on seat planning, secondments and qualification

  • Overseeing the management of various human resource databases and personnel files for current trainee solicitors and future joiners

  • Overseeing admin processes relating to salaries, new joiners and leavers

  • Overseeing general admin such as tracking appraisals and training records and preparing paperwork such as employment contracts and general letters in liaison with team members in global Shared Services

  • Assisting with the trainee qualification

  • Assisting with any employment, disciplinary or general HR matters

  • Assisting with high level queries from and regarding trainees

  • Conducting mid-seat catchups

  • Responsibility of application and selection process for international and client secondments

  • Monitoring future trainee and trainee solicitor visa requirements

  • Assisting with annual budget compilation

  • Assisting with management of two admins

As the HR Adviser, you will possess:

  • Commerciality and must be focused on delivering services which benefit the business

  • Proven track record of taking responsibility

  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal

  • Strong IT skills

  • Experience working with team members

  • Previous professional services experience in a similar role
