HR Coordinator - Legal

A leading international Law Firm based in The City are looking for an HR Coordinator to join their team. Reporting into the HR Director you will work closely with the HRD and HR Manager to provide support to the firm. As the HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • HR Generalist Admin

  • Working alongside Senior Coordinators to monitor calls/voicemails, ensuring they are acknowledged and actioned immediately or within 24 hours for non-urgent queries

  • Responding to basic reference and employee information requests

  • Collating information for HR report under guidance of Senior HR Coordinators

  • Scanning and filing of documentation to electronic files and performing file audits

  • Managing HR management team diaries and arranging departmental meetings and booking conferences

  • Arranging staff training at request of HR management team

  • General admin assistance to HR Manager and HR Director

  • Recruitment

  • Managing applications through CV mail, updating through the process and inputting interview feedback

  • Liaising with agencies and hiring managers to set up interviews, coordinating schedules with applicants and interviewers, creating appointments and booking rooms, sending confirmation etc.

  • Creating induction schedules and associated meeting invites and room set ups, updating new joiner packs

  • Managing probation meetings for support staff and creating end of probation letters

  • Completing new joiner checklists

  • Off-boarding

  • Liaising with Senior HR Coordinators and HR Ops on leaver administration, managing exit interview documents and setting up exit interviews

  • Working with HR Ops and Legal Recruiting teams to ensure off-boarding system tasks are done

  • Secretarial Services

  • Assisting Secretarial Manager with day-to-day management of the secretarial team such as arranging cover

  • Ensuring any secretarial absence notified via HR helpdesk calls or emails are communicated appropriately

  • Approving absences

  • Sourcing secretarial support for visitors

As the HR Coordinator, you will possess:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an HR Assistant or Admin/Secretarial Assistant

  • Experience within a law firm

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
