HR Process Specialist

A leading global law firm based in The City are recruiting for a HR Process Specialist to join their team. Reporting into the Senior Manager, this role will focus on providing specialist expertise to manage and develop services across the HR function. You will take the lead in mapping and developing processes along with identifying opportunities for improvement. As the HR Process Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Mapping and developing HR processes, ensuring consistency across HR sub functions

  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance customer experience, increase quality and deliver efficiencies by working closely with key stakeholders

  • Monitoring specific service levels and KPI's to identify and resolve issues whilst documenting and reporting on relevant metrics

  • Supporting the change control process and providing input to the scoping, resourcing, planning and implementation of changes

  • Liaising with 3rd party providers to ensure services are delivered to meet business requirements, against agreed contractual parameters and with end to end process and service experience in mind

  • Ensuring HR data and documentation is handled appropriately

  • Dealing with escalated issues from within HR Ops and the GSC etc.

  • Supporting the design, development and implementation of new technologies to enable service delivery teams to manage process and service changes

  • Assisting with regular quality reviews and audits, developing and delivering against any action plans that may arise

  • Participating in HR and business projects wherever process mapping or service improvements are key requirements

  • Facilitating focus groups to ensure stakeholder feedback is built in to process and service design

  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of employee regulations, industry trends, current practises, new developments and applicable laws, brining process and service best practice into the business

As the HR Process Specialist, you will possess:

  • Credible subject matter expertise and associated experience of business process design and mapping

  • Project management and internal consulting skills along with strong analytical capabilities

  • Strong problem solving, facilitation and decision-making skills

  • Relevant experience in hands on HR service delivery and HR process improvement

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to effectively plan, set priorities and manage several projects simultaneously

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate at all levels within the organisation

  • Strong business acumen

  • Strong relationship management skills

  • Sound understanding of contemporary HR practices and HR best practice

  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR systems
