We're working with a global financial services firm based in London on an HR Advisor opportunity. This would suit someone who has a few years of experience in an HR role and that is looking for the step up to Advisor. That said, you'd need to be confident and have gained experience in managing some ER issues and taking a lead on process management.
Responsibilities would include:
Maintain HR documents such as contracts, manuals, policies etc. and manage employee records such as PIP, appraisal, sickness
Monitor the HR inbox
Advise on ER issues such as absence, performance, disciplinaries, grievances and support the HRBP with more complex issues
Develop relationships with line managers and employees, working closely with the HRBP to develop solutions
Support the Recruitment & Talent team and HRBP's on the graduate attraction and hiring process
Assist in the design and delivery of HR workshops
Provide support on projects, change programmes etc.
Work with payroll and HRIS teams to manage data for payroll and HR systems, produce MI reports
Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
Support processes annual or otherwise such as performance, comp, non-compliance and so on
Candidates suitable for this opportunity will:
Have experience of working within a corporate environment as an HR generalist
Ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent
Ideally be CIPD qualified or studying towards
Be confident building relationships with stakeholders and have had experience advising on HR related matters
Have had experience managing ER issues such as maternity/paternity, performance, sickness etc.
