Senior HR Advisor - West London

Our client is a major business to business and facilities management company offering a wide range of corporate services to an even wider range of clients. we are looking to recruit a Senior HR Advisor to join them, taking on responsibilty for the care of onsite staff for one of their larger clients operating in the media sector.

As Senior HR Advisor based from their impressive West London Head Office you will be responsible for a Blue collar workforce of approximatley 500 across the organisation.

Responsibilities are:

  • To ensure a positive experience for all Managers by providing a seamless service and technically sound employment law advice

  • To actively deliver a best in class service within the HR function

  • Deal with your contracted people's case files - first line advice to managers, and liaising with service centre to proactively manage cases across the contract

  • Provide HR training workshops for managers across the account

  • Own and embed the PDP process - coaching managers in performance management, chasing PDP completion, owning the PDP register, and promote high levels of employee engagement

  • Complete the design of the Account induction programme and run monthly induction sessions

  • Work with comms team to produce and maintain comms and engagement channels

  • People Survey - run on behalf of the service team, engage managers and their teams for completion. Own the improvement plan stemming from the people survey results

  • Coordinate the Account Management Development programme

  • Set up new monthly MI reporting structure for the People MI over and above standard People MI

As the Senior HR Advisor you will report into the Head Of Services with a dotted line into the HR Director. This is an operational role and will suit someone with aspirations to become a Business Partner in time.

To succeed in this role you will be a confident and resilient generalist with a background as an HR Advisor together with some project management experience and an understanding of how to use HR analytics in your business. An interest in engagement and recognition is important as this and customer service are key drivers in this business.
