Interim HR Adviser job in Kingston paying £ 230 a day.

You will be working for a University located in Kingston.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the delivery of HR advice and support to all Faculties and Directorates in the University. The focus of the role is to advise on the application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures in accordance with current legislation and best practice. This is an interim role until the end of February where you will be focusing on ER by providing advice and guidance on all employment casework. This will include(but is not limited to) probation, sickness, capability/performance management, disciplinaries and grievances. Ensure cases are resolved to agreed timescales and case reviews are conducted on a regular basis. What you need to succeed:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Chartered member CIPD (or working towards)
  • Substantial experience within an HR environment (any sector).
  • Working knowledge of employment law and good practice.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office packages e.g. Word, Excel.
  • Experience of using HR systems, including ad hoc report writing and analysis.

Interviews will take place week commencing 17th January and you will be required to start 2nd January 2019.
