Hays Human Resources are exclusively recruiting for a growing and ambitious technology business looking to recruit for an dynamic and hands-on HR Professional Services Consultant based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. A permanent position where you will have an active role in introducing the appropriate HR processes and software to a range of clients, implementing and training along with providing on-going HR systems/process support. A great opportunity for an HR professional with an interest in systems/business processes or for an experienced systems/implementation professional looking to join a hands-on and successful team.
Your new role
Your key duties will include an understanding of business processes in addition to knowledge of IT, for working with clients successfully on implementing new systems (the System solution will incorporate standard accounting and HR management processes) for a range of UK and International clients, looking into existing system pain points and identifying related management software requirements. You will meet with prospective clients to agree project plans for their HR systems and other key stakeholders internally, along with implementing and configuring the HR software to tailored specifications, managing change and transferring data. You will provide on-going training and support via telephone, email, customer site visits and remote screen sharing. You will be expected to prepare supporting material and training/help manuals based on the HR processes/systems. The above are the main responsibilities of the role; it is likely that other work will be required in supporting the organisation's activities and that the role will develop over time to suit the changing needs of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
For this exciting and varied HR Professional Services Consultant role you will need sufficient knowledge of standard HR systems and it is essential you have a full UK driving licence (as there will be monthly travel to some of the clients you are working with). You will need strong communication skills to build relationships at all levels internally and externally, and be able to explain HR processes and systems to a varied client base. You will be resilient when under pressure to be able complete the project deadlines and manage work-loads effectively. Ideally you will have sufficient knowledge of HR management practices. It would be advantageous but not essential if you have experience using NetSuite or similar business management software.
