Ashley Kate HR & Finance are currently partnering with a Derbyshire based manufacturing business who are looking to recruit for HR Business Partner position. This would be a 15 month FTC contract to cover maternity.
This role is to support the growth of the business, by supporting and advising senior managers both in the day to day operational support and also with forward thinking business solutions and pre-empting potential business issues.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to-
·Providing support to the HR team on a daily basis to ensure the delivery of professional and pragmatic HR support
·Leading and coaching the HR team to ensure their continuous professional and commercial development
·Provide commercially focused advice on complex employee relation issues while working with managers to coach, mentor and up-skill them in the application of HR policies and procedures
·Building key relationships to influence stakeholders and establish credibility as an expert in operational HR support
·Contributing to HR initiatives and strategies to address challenges and identify opportunities as well as develop the credibility and perceived value of HR.
·Supporting the business on a wide range of HR projects
What my client is looking for-
·Experience working in a true partnering role
·Experience in an industrial manufacturing business would be advantageous
·You must be CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent.
·Proven experience of managing complex ER cases
·Leading on change management projects such as TUPE and restructures. Also comfortable dealing with unions
·Ability to influence at all levels with assertive, engaging and professional style
