Description

As Strategic HR Business Partner you will play a critical role in the delivery of the overall organisational strategy. You will join an embedded HR team in a generalist role to help push forward the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an organisation where not everything is set, to enable you to shape this role and gain commercial achievements.

You will work in partnership with all managers up to Directors of functions and use your Business Partnering skills, commercial approach and excellent communications skills to inspire change within the organisation. You will champion a culture that drives and recognises staff performance in order to continue to attract and retain the best talent to deliver the best services to customers.

Key areas of focus include talent & succession planning, employee engagement, cultural change, change management, L&D, recruitment & retention, driving performance and complex ER. There are also opportunities to work on various HR projects such as health and well-being, working, culture change and establishing the employer brand.

A key focus of the role will be to lead, engage and motivate a team of HR Business Partners, to ensure they deliver a customer centric service to employees.

Profile

To be successful in this role, you will have some team management experience and be an expert in generalist both strategic and operational HR. We are looking for someone who can role model the values of the organisations and come to the role with experience and expertise that is applied in an appropriate way. You will be an excellent relationship builder with examples of how you can help a team turn around difficult stakeholders in order to work together in a true partnership. Looking for a HR professional who is a quick thinker, resilient and can challenge ways of working. You will be able to manage complex and challenging situations with often limited resources, providing innovative and creative solutions.
